Yogi is excessively controlled as his mother is authoritarian and dictates his life. This is due to the death of Yogi's brother, who was treated carelessly. Yogi is already a college student but he still lacks confidence. The conflict begins when his mother wants to match him with Ria. Yogi is upset and intentionally fails the exam. One evening, Yogi is dragged into a nightclub, where he meets Sita, a hostess who introduces herself as a Social Science Department student who is doing research in the club. Yogi falls for her and his mother comes to confront Sita. Eventually, Yogi finds out Sita's true character when he sees her flirting with Uncle Darto. His heart is broken and he runs away from home. He rents a rundown house. The news of engagement between Sita and Uncle Darto drives Yogi mad. Luckily, it is only a false rumour. Sita realises how much Yogi loves her and after living together with him, she successfully opens his eyes to the meaning of life, and she also finances the cost of his study. Yogi finally finishes his studies and graduates. His parents come to the graduation and insult Sita for being a prostitute. Sita runs away from the university hall and is willing to follow Uncle Darto, who will fly to Surabaya. Yogi takes off his academic gown and hands his diploma to his mom. He runs after Sita to the airport.
