Waktu Maghrib

Title translation: Maghrib Time

Adi (Ali Fikry), Saman (Bima Sena), and Ayu (Nafiza) live in Jatijajar village, a remote village in Central Java. Having to help their family in the fields, Adi and Saman are often late for school. As a result, the two of them are often punished by Mrs Woro (Aulia Sarah), their strict teacher. One day, Adi and Saman's resentment towards Mrs Woro peaks. They swear at her, and even hope that the teacher would die. This oath is pronounced at the same time as the Maghrib call to prayer. Not long after, Mrs Woro dies tragically. Since then, Adi and Saman experience a terrifying supernatural terror. There is a mysterious spirit in a teacher's uniform, just like the one Mrs Woro wore when she died. Over time, terror threatens not only physically, but also their souls. After slaughtering the village head's pet chicken, Saman fights his brother to death. After carrying out this bloody action, the teenager falls into a trance and commits suicide just as the Maghrib call to prayer resounds. Ayu suspects that there is a more frightening evil force behind this series of events. If she doesn't do something, Adi will have the same fate.
