Samidah or Midah is eight months pregnant, when she decides to move to Bali to be with her husband, Santo, who works as a construction worker. Midah gives birth to a baby girl. Midah and Santo could not make up her baby from the hospital. Santo meets John and his wife, Terry, who makes up and adopts the baby. In the agreement, Midah and Santo could meet with their child after the age of 18 years. The baby is named Angeline. John loves Angeline, but suddenly he dies of a heart attack.
