Tak Cukup Hanya Cinta

(title translation: Love is Not Enough)

Irna comes from a broken family. She works as a journalist and has a good heart. Amran, her former boyfriend, shocks her by leaving his son with her. While his daughter, Dian, is very naughty, she becomes close to Irna. Amran tells her that he is going to visit his parents in Padang but he is just dating someone else. Knowing this, Irna goes home and leaves Dian with Amran's parents. Irna rejects two suitors, Firman, a doctor, and her neighbour, and also her colleague. Then Amran appears again with Dian and asks Irna to marry. Dian agrees but Amran repeats his bad behaviour. He goes on dating another girl while accusing Irna of being barren. He brings Dian back with him to Padang, where his brother, who envies him for getting more attention from his parents, kills him. Then Dian joins Irna in Jakarta, and now, Irna accepts Firman’s proposal. Then Dian's biological mother comes to take her back, revealing that Dian is not Amran’s child. She used Dian to force a marriage with Amran, who is infertile. But Dian chooses to stay with Irna. Finally Irna, Dian and Firman live together happily.
