Tuyul Perempuan

(title translation: Female Imp)

After the success of the film Tuyul, the same main cast returned with Bagio’s comedy group plus the actresses Titiek Puspa and Liza Tanzil who were asked to sing. Sol Soleh wanders into a cave filled with small statues. The statues are tuyuls (childlike ghost similar to goblin or imp) and he brings two home. One of them, Darto, the humble one, comes to life, and Soleh becomes rich overnight. He plans a bigger operation, but Darto requests a companion, so Soleh turns the other one, Bagio, the snobbish one, to life. After the operation succeeds, Bagio requests a female companion. Soleh goes back to the cave and takes another statue. The tuyul Puspa appears. Things go downhill after this. Darto and Bagio refuse to work and only want to have fun. As a result, they are cursed back into being statues. The statue of Darto is thrown away and is discovered by Diran. Diran makes him his servant. The statue of Bagio is put on the shelf of Wan Abud, a furniture seller. Later on, Liza, a little girl, finds the two imps. This is where the special effects of the film are shown, in a scene where Liza drives a car. At the end, Liza has to part with the two imps, who return to Diran. Finally, Diran and Soleh are asked to return the two imps to where they found them, and both Diran and Soleh are cursed to be imps themselves.
