Terminal Cinta

Joki Tobing, a rebellious young man, arrives from Medan and works as a reporter. His reports cause him to be fired by his chief editor, and even his uncle, in whose house he is staying, throws him out. He reports on his uncle’s corruption, which also relates to his own father. Unemployed, he meets Widuri, a civil servant for the city of Jakarta. As their relationship grows closer, Widuri is having doubts about revealing more about herself, though this is what Joki wants from her. One day, Joki sees Widuri walking together with a stranger. He becomes angry, as he is also being pushed by his parents to marry Meinar, daughter of his uncle. Meinar has been secretly in love with Joki for a long time, though it is her own friend, Wawan, who loves her. His parents’ insistence causes a rift between them, with Joki opining harshly about the decadence of the old generation. This causes his mother to fall ill. At the same time, Widuri’s child has an accident and is treated at the same hospital, though the child does not survive. There, Joki discovers the truth of Widuri’s background from Anton, Widuri’s college friend. After that, Anton and Widuri are reconciled as lovers.
