Takdir Marina

(title translation: Marina's Fate)

Herman insists on marrying Marina, a former nightclub hostess, who has a child with her late former boyfriend, Dori. Herman is trying to be fair with all of his kids, even to Sally, Marina’s child. But Marina confesses to her best friend Henny, that Herman is secretly disappointed in her, although he truly loves her. Things get worse when Herman falls into the arms of Stella, a runway fashion and photo model. Then Marina is chased by Adrian, her own brother-in-law, who realises that she is his real love. Adrian feels emptiness in his marriage as his wife, Yanti, is more focused on her career. She feels humiliated by Adrian’s attention as Herman is like a god to her. She is still able to love Herman, when he admits his affair with Stella, after she tries to blackmail him. Marina confronts Stella with fortitude, and the latter backs off. The problem of Sally, who feels left out, is finally settled, but she then contracts a disease, that shocks Herman and makes him feel guilty. Meanwhile, Adrian and Yanti rekindle their love.
