After having two children with Suciati, Samsu is still tempted to go with another woman, Kesturi. His wife and two kids are left in Jogjakarta, while he goes to Jakarta to join Kesturi. Suci goes blind due to her suffering and works as a masseur. Meanwhile, her son becomes mute and she has to give her daughter away for adoption. Then she tries her luck in Jakarta, and on one occasion she has to massage Samsu. Although he feels sorry about his mistakes, he continues to court another woman, this time Rustiati, Mr. Sastro’s adopted daughter. But Rustiati is his own daughter hence Samsu’s family is inadvertently reunited.
