(title translation: As White as Her Heart, as Red as Her Lips)

Mr. and Mrs. Pahala Simbolon are very happy to have meals with their children and grandchildren who no longer live with them. Only Bungalan stays with them now. The mother is worried when Binsar, the youngest, doesn’t show up. He is reluctant to see the family as he had just married his pregnant girlfriend. Groga, the second child, is very dominant because of his success as a businessman and is as hard as nails. Bungalan is the mediator but her mother is worried that she would leave the house once she gets married. Half of the film is spent on the twists and turns of family issues, but unfortunately there are just too many and it becomes difficult to guess where the film is going. Finally the issue of the ailing mother prevails. Bungalan, who is a psychology student, guesses that her mother’s illness is more psychological. Together with her boyfriend, Radityo, they set out on a journey to the land of Batak, where her mother starts to reveal her past.
