Lia (Meriam Bellina) and Rizal (Ray Sahetapy) plan to get married as soon as feasible financially. Unfortunately, things do not go well for them because Rizal loses his job. He then meets Reggie (Dian Nitami), the daughter of a wealthy businessman. Reggie is strongly attracted to Rizal, and suggests that her father hire him as one of his managers. They start dating. Rizal’s friend, Rino (Rano Karno), reprimands Rizal for his behavior, but Rizal won’t listen. Eventually Rizal has to marry Reggie because she is pregnant. Their household is a maelstrom of conflict. Meanwhile, Lia is making a great deal of headway with her career and frequently consults and exchanges ideas with Rino. Eventually, they fall in love and get married. Rizal then makes an effort to make things right with his wife.
