Saritem Penjual Jamu

Saritem, a “jamu” (traditional medicinal potion) seller is staying with Mansur’s mother in the city, as her uncle has transmigrated to another place. The rented house that belonged to her uncle is given to Mansur’s mother. While helping her, Saritem sells medicinal drinks where Mansur is working as a driver in a department. When some employees start fighting over her, Burhan, the director there, becomes interested and drinks her medicinal drinks too. And he too falls for her. Her medicinal potion also cures his impotency. Sutinah, a prostitute in love with Mansur, starts spreading libel, when Mansur is arrested for hitting a street sweeper. As a result, Saritem is told to go away. Burhan becomes impotent again and asks for Saritem to be found. When found, she is dressed and beautifully made up so Burhan is aroused. Saritem runs away seeing Burhan’s behaviour. Luckily he finds Saritem’s address on the container of her medicinal drinks. Burhan goes to find Saritem in her village and marries her.
