Synopsis
Ahmad (Reza Rahadian) is a Jakartan taxi driver. He is an addict of pornographic readings and videos who can’t unleash his lust because he can’t afford it. What he can do is entertain himself in front of the TV or quietly masturbate in his taxi. Every night he listens to his fellow taxi drivers’ comments about hookers or their wives. On daylight he visits a mosque diligently where he learns about the importance of chastity, morality and the Quran.
A spark of hope turns up when Ahmad falls in love with his neighbor, Kinar (Ratu Felisha), a sex worker. He drives her to her work place. But Kinar’s pimp gets in the way of their relationship. The conflict between sex as a product and the pressure of religious mores makes Ahmad depressed. He only wants to free Kinar and himself from lives full of stains.
