Sona Anak Srigala

(title translation: Sona the Wolf Child)

Permoni, who thirsts for power, regards Waskita as an obstacle. He incites his uncle, Akra, the tribal chief, to punish Waskita for predicting that the baby inside Akra’s wife’s womb is a boy, who will be the enforcer of justice. Apparently Akra’s wife who in the beginning, pretends to be pregnant, is actually pregnant. So Waskita is burned but his body takes off and cannot be found. Then Permoni stages the coup and takes over after they poison Akra. A kind servant rescues the baby from Akra’s wife, who is also killed. The baby is put in a cave, with the hope that someone will come and take care of him. The cave is a wolf den but the wolf doesn’t eat the baby and nurtures it instead, as commanded by Waskita, who appears before it. Later, a hunter finds an agile and nimble child in the woods. He names him Sona. Sona learns archery and martial arts with Intan, the hunter’s child. One day, when Sona and Intan are hunting, they hear the scream of Wulan who is about to be raped by Permoni’s soldier. Sona attempts a rescue but he is captured and tortured until he is blind. He is held hostage with several female prisoners who will be sacrificed to the idols. The kind servant is still alive and knows that Sona is the baby he once rescued. Along with Waskita, the young Sona is rescued and healed. In the end, Sona manages to defeat Permoni and his cruel men.
