Sundel Bolong

Alicia and Hendarto’s happiness as newlyweds doesn’t last long. Hendarto is stationed overseas while some playboys use Alicia, a former prostitute. Her former pimp, who has lost money because of her, promotes this depravity. Soon Alicia is pregnant and she is depressed. She dies and becomes a ghost with a hollowed back AKA “sundel bolong”, according to the local legend. This ghost avenges all those who have harmed her. The adventure of the ghost ends when her husband returns and finds out what has happened to his wife. The ghost returns to her grave.
