Perisai Kasih yang Terkoyak

Bunga and her little brother, Gilang, are taken to an orphanage owned by Mrs. Lastri, since their father is suffering from lung cancer. The father was apparently a long time lover of Mrs. Lastri. Then Gilang is adopted and brought to Palembang, while Wisnu, a songwriter, widower and the younger brother of Mrs. Lastri, adopts Bunga. Bunga grows up to be a singer and loved by Agung, a rich man’s son. Unexpectedly, Gilang also becomes a famous singer. The producers of Gilang and Bunga are in competition to gain their singers’ popularity. Then Gilang has an accident that breaks his vocal cords and makes his legs paralyzed. This is when Bunga learns that Gilang is her missing younger brother whom she has been looking for. In the middle of the show, Gilang appears on stage in a wheelchair.
