Pangeran Geger Malela

This story is set in the Pajajaran Kingdom in the period when King Mundinglaya (Andrion) ruled with the assistance of Prince Geger Malela (Salman Fariz), Munding Sangkala Wisesa (Maman Sumanta) and Dewi Asri (Diana Noviandini). At the time, the neighboring Kutalamaran kingdom was ruled by Braja Lamatan (Asep Iskandar Z) with the assistance of Anjar Manik (Ratna Komalasari). Braja Lamatan falls in love with Dewi Asri, whom he meets in a dream. With the help of Anjar Manik, Braja Lamatan attempts to kidnap Dewi Asri. This abduction is foiled by Prince Geger Malela. Anjar Manik, who is intent on having Dewi Asri, challenges her to a duel, in which she is cornered and almost loses. At that moment, Dewi Asri submits herself to God’s will and prays for help. Anjar Manik, who had predicted before the duel that the one in the wrong would be defeated, is killed when his own weapon turns on him. He dies in the arms of Dewi Asri who forgives him for his offenses.
