Perawan Metropolitan

Broken hearted because the man she is engaged to turns out to already have a wife and child, Nurlela (Eva Arnaz) goes to the city to look for a job. After she has successfully built her career, Nurlela finds that a number of men are interested in her. Unfortunately, all of them are already married.

Meanwhile, Mugeni (Rano Karno), Nurlela’s older brother, is asked by his boss, Murtado (Soendjoto Adibroto), to find him a soul mate. The type of woman Murtado describes sounds a lot like Nurlela. In the meantime, matchmaker Aisyah (Nani Widjaja), shows up and tries to make a match between Nurlela and Jupri (Eddy Riwanto). This comedy features the indigenous Betawi culture of Jakarta.
