Perjanjian Terlarang

Murti (Sally Marcelina) is the daughter of formerly wealthy farmer Murdali (Wenda Wijaya), who has gone bankrupt and owes large sums of money to the loan shark, Juragan Hamid (Mawardi Harland), who has his eye on Murti. When Murdali is unable to pay back the loans he has taken, Juragan Hamid forces Murdali to let him marry his daughter Murti, even though she already has a boyfriend named Yusman (Johan Saimima). Because they have no alternative, Yusman and Murti marry one another is a mystic ceremony witnessed by the spirit of the dwarf shaman Mbah Jagaraga (El Koesno), before Murti is given in marriage to Juragan Hamid. After becoming married to the man she hates, by chance, Murti learns that Juragan Hamid is a fugitive convict. Hamid then murders Murti to secure his secret. Murti’s death disturbs the spirit of Mbah Jagaraga, and together,  the ghosts of Murti and Mbah Jagaraga begin to haunt the village, causing unrest among the villagers. The situation then attracts the attention of Kyai Rahkim (Arman Effendy), a revered ulema, who comes to exorcise the village and rid it of the dark spirits that are troubling the populace.
