Lanny dates Freddie, a ruffian who wants to be in the music business but never manages to make it happen. Even though forbidden by her foster mother, she stays in a relationship with him and gets pregnant, even though she was arranged to marry Perdana, her foster mother’s son, who studies abroad. Then Freddie robs and kills so he can get money to marry Lanny. He is caught and is sentenced to 15 years in jail. Perdana returns from abroad and is willing to marry the pregnant Lanny, with his mother’s support. His mother is dating Handaka, a playboy, and he also makes a play for Lanny, because Perdana is only willing to have sex with her after the baby is born. Freddie then escapes from jail with the intention to take his girlfriend and child with him. But Perdana calls the police and Freddie is shot and killed.
