Synopsis

 

(literal translation of Perempuan Histeris: Hysterical Woman)
Rina (Yatie Octavia), a beautiful and innocent girl, lives with her widowed mother. She works in a beauty salon, and one day meets Toni (Broery Pesolima), a famous singer. They fall in love but have no time to make the relationship work. Toni gets a contract overseas, and has to leave in a hurry. Then Rina is fooled by John (Ratno Timoer) to take drugs and her addiction becomes her hysteria. John then dopes Rina before handing her to Surya (Sandy Suwardi Hassan), who plans to rape her. But Rina shoots him, and then the police move in to capture the drug network. Toni returns, and is still in love with Rina but now must wait for her to finish her jail sentence.
