Panah dan Jantung

(title translation: Arrow and Heart)

Remo, a young man from Bukit Tinggi who is studying in Jakarta, is attracted to Wini, who suffers from a heart disease. His parents, who disapprove of this, tell him to come home, as his mother is ill. He is obviously fooled, for his mother is just fine. Then letters from Wini are blocked by Remo’s mother, while letters from Remo are sabotaged by his roommate, Yudi. Finally, Wini dies. When Remo joins KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or Student Community Service, where university students live among locals to apply what they learn) in Central Java, he meets Lolita, and he becomes intimate with her because she resembles Wini. It turns out that Lolita is Wini’s twin sister. After passing through several trials, Remo and Lolita live happily.
