Synopsis
Title translation: The Possessed Pocong
Bujang, James and Mentil go to the city to pick up Santo, a friend at the martial art institution owned by Santo’s father. Santo has been on the run for a year because he doesn’t want to be the warrior as his father’s wish. Bujang, a whiz at pantun, a kind of limerick, reminds his friends to come home soon unless there’s an emergency matter.
Being hicks, in the city they search for Santo’s address in a flurry and they make it. Santo lives in a rented house with Chika and Wendy. At first, having his friends make Santo happy but after he learns their purpose, he loses his spirit. Santo explains that he will only return when he’s rich and stays at his own house instead of a rented one. Santo is also jinxed. Every night after dusk he turns into a pansy due to a wrong spell he pronounces in order to obtain wealth. Every night he changes into a pansy by the name of Santi. Bujang, James and Mentil are concerned.
Santo has a revelation through his dream about a sacred Chinese grave that hides treasure. At night Santo—who has changed into Santi—with Bujang and James go to the grave. They’re surprised to see that the corpse inside the coffin is lying facedown instead on its back. When they’re removing the treasure, supernatural beings emerge: Chinese Vampire and Pocong Ajun. Bujang, Santo and James are terrorized.
Beben, Mentil’s girlfriend, follows them to the city. Mentil, Santo, Bujang and James are happy to have her. But scary, comical things keep bugging them. Hilarious Pocong Ajung warns them to return the stolen money or treasure from the sacred Chinese grave. The Chinese Vampire is enraged because its belongings are stolen by human beings. But Bujang and his friends don’t give a damn.
It gets complicated when Chika is kidnapped by a gang of hoodlums who also want the Chinese grave treasure. Bujang and his friends muster up their martial art skills. Santo wants to return the treasure. Together they go to the enemy’s lair. Chinese Vampire and Pocong Ajun come to their aid.
