To pursue their dream to be a successful singer, Maya and Deddy decide to give away their illegitimate child to a farmer, since a baby would hinder their careers. The farmer names the baby, Buang (meaning “throw away”). Ten years after, Maya and Deddy’s dream is realised, but Maya still thinks about her child, even though she has another child, Rini. But she even loses consciousness out of distress when she has a show in the same village where she has given her child away. She tries to find the farmer she has given the baby to, but the child has left with the younger sibling of the farmer, an acrobatic monkey troupe performer, and his address is not known. One day, Rini meets Buang and becomes friends with him so finally, Maya and Buang are reunited.
