In a forest, Bunga the Snake Princess and Sanca the python live and love each other. Every full moon they transform into humans and hold erotic dance ceremonies. On one full moon, Tomo with his wife and friends, see Bunga and Sanca together. Then Sukma, one of Tomo’s friends, accidentally shoots Sanca, because she thinks the snake is about to bite the beautiful Bunga. This incident makes Bunga sad and angry. Bunga then kills Tomo’s friends. Nyi Inten, who is asked for help to tame Bunga, manages to trap Bunga in a basket. Tomo and his friends steal the basket and start shooting at it. But Bunga shows up in another place and murders Tomo and his wife with his own weapon. Then Nyi Inten makes peace with Bunga. Bunga is about to leave when lightning strikes a tree that falls and kills her.
