Pawang

(title translation: Animal Tamer)

Tias (Keke Hamzah) is bitten by a cobra while hunting with her boyfriend, Lintang (Dicky Vandi). Luckily, Bismo (Chairil JM) saves them. During their stay at Bismo’s house, Tias experiences many things, including being attacked by a crocodile and being saved again by Bismo. Lintang gets jealous and asks Tias to come home with him. But back home, the weird things keep happening too. Lintang, who gets even more jealous tries to kill Bismo but always fails. But then weird things now happen to Lintang. The dead tiger display in his house roars and it is heard by the “tiger community”, who sends Kemukus (Malfin Shayna) to kill Lintang. But then Kemukus, the female tiger, falls in love with Lintang. Now, Tias is jealous. She tells her psychic mother, Niken (Tien Kadaryono), about it. But Lintang does not believe it when told that Kemukus is not a human being. Kemukus then attacks Tias and Niken, but Bismo comes to the rescue.
