Olga dan Sepatu Roda

Olga (Deasy Ratnasari), a high school student, is obsessed with roller skating. She has won many championships. She uses her skates to get to wherever she wants to go. When her favorite skates begin to wear out, she wants to get a new pair, but her parents refuse. She finally finds a way to earn some money to buy the skates she wants by becoming a program announcer at the Gaga radio station.  She turns out to be very popular among the station’s listeners. In fact, one listener, Somad (Mandra), a young Betawi (indigenous Jakarta) man, is so infatuated that he inundates her with  letters and gifts. Her success also brings other problems. Her studies suffer, which upsets her mother, who becomes very angry at her. Meanwhile, Ucup (Tino Karno), a Gaga radio station employee, undertakes an intrigue designed to get Andi (Dandung Sadewa), Olga’s broadcast partner, to quit his job. When Andi leaves, Olga resigns as well, and focuses on her roller skating competitions again. When Vera (Alba Fuad) offers Olga the chance to work as a broadcaster again, Olga agrees, but only after she has competed in an upcoming championship. When Olga wins the championship, Somad shows up with an entourage of family and friends to propose to Olga.
