An accident occurs in the ICA tunnel, an Indonesian-German joint venture. The blast traps 50 men inside. In the rescue effort, an expert from Germany demonstrates an advanced tool, a combination of laser power and ultrasonic waves that can drill any type of hard stone. ICA will carry the tool by plane but to avoid sabotage from IMPEX, ICA’s rival company, the tool is rumoured to be actually transported by a Mercedez truck driven by Ted, an ex-rally US champion, with the help of Heinz, a German engineer. IMPEX then discovers that the original tool is carried by truck, and are in hot pursuit. But Ted and Heinz, with the help of Vivi, succeed in bringing the tool in time before the victims die from suffocation in the tunnel.
