Instead of the novel’s caricatures, director Bobby Sandy presents the story in a conventional way. Arjuna, a handsome, intelligent high school senior comes from a middle class family. With his natural gifts, he often changes girlfriends. This causes a lot of heartbreaks. Karma finally catches up when his younger sister, Putri, dates Pal, who wants to get even with him. Pal feels revengeful towards Arjuna because the latter took his girlfriend, Angga, but then left her. Arjuna starts finding his conscience, and learns not to treat girls that way anymore. At the end, he falls in love with his father’s secretary, PergiWati, who turns out to be his father’s girlfriend.
