Sastro doesn’t trust his two daughters, Airin and Tisa, to be mature individuals since the passing of his wife. At 18, Airin is spoiled, childish and emotional. Then she secretly falls in love with Ray in a discotheque. Tisa, her independent stepsister, is afraid of men and really loves music. She too falls in love with Ray. Then Airin is accepted at ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) and also receives a scholarship to study in Tokyo. But Airin does not reveal this to her father and Tisa, as she does not want to be far from Ray.
