Lintar, Ketika Musim Duren Tiba

(title translation: Lintar, When Durian Season Comes)

Seemingly inspired by the character Lupus from the best selling book series (that started in 1986), and adapted into films, the protagonist here is named Lintar, a naughty, though not unruly, student. Half of the film lacks a strong story but instead depicts scenes of mischief and comic situations. Then Lintar is “dated” by Atik Wibisono, a singer who is annoyed by her boyfriend, Onky, who is always with other women. Amazingly, Lintar instead lectures Atik, who then goes back to Onky.
