Lagi-lagi Krisis

(title translation: Crisis, Again)

Husin bin Said is suddenly inspired to become a shaman. He puts on a signboard and people start coming to him asking for help: a man who wants to be a cultural attache, another wants to become a parliament member, a high-ranking official's wife whose husband is having an affair, film producers, and so on. Without apparent reason, Henry Bross the producer and Mimi, the future film star, manage to push Husin to give his best in realizing their hopes. This story becomes the main plot while on another level, the director is satirising the film industry. The story takes a turn when Pedro, Husin's old friend, who is a retired stage actor, deludes himself about his past success. Husin's house is next to the house of Jaka Prawira and Mariam. One day their in-law, the bossy RA Berlian pays a visit. Husin sends Pedro to deceive Berlian and he succeeds. Berlian gives them money to produce a film. Halfway through, the production halts once the deception is discovered. All of Husin’s former patients also come back angrily because none of his remedies worked. The film was a strong critique to the current social situation.
