Indra Tauhid aka Ican (Adipati Dolken) has repeatedly been faced with an arranged marriage by his mother, Rosmaida aka Ros (Ratna Riantiarno), the landlord. She feels that Ican has to marry for he is is old enough. Ican feels that marriage is not his priority. This difference often triggers quarrels between the two of them. One day, Ican feels that the debate with Ros has to end. He tricks Ros by bringing a prospective daughter-in-law through a dating application called Love Inc. Arini (Della Dartyan) is introduced as an ex-girlfriend when they were in college. Arini is allowed to stay in one of Ros's rented plots. Arini's presence brings big changes to Ros' family. The family become closer thanks to Arini. Ros is fond of Arini. She proudly introduces Arini as a prospective daughter-in-law to her friends. Sseeing the relationship in his  family improving thanks to Arini, Ican begins to appreciate the role of Arini. Slowly he fallts in love.
