Because he is always losing out to women in his efforts to get a job or even to get a seat on a bus, as well as because he tends to be a bit effeminate, Arkadi (Deddy Mizwar) finally begins to hate women. To take revenge, he changes his appearance to that of a woman in order to get one over on them all. Finally, he does get a job in an office. The whole atmosphere of the office changes, from the director’s office down through the driving pool and even among the office boys. In fact, the director goes so far as to fall in love with Arkadi, who goes by the name of Dorce. Murce (Lydia Kandou), who is a man hater, also falls in love with Dorce. Things finally come to a head when Arkadi, alias Dorce, reveals his true gender. Murce continues to love him for who he is, gender aside. This is a case of a clever satirical film script that was transformed into an ordinary comedic movie.
