The story of Juno's journey from childhood to adulthood. He becomes a dancer in a village on Java, which is known as the village of Lengger Lanang, a female dance performed by male dancers. Juno's life is the life of a masculine and feminine body that is formed naturally by village life and his family. The next journey of his life was a journey full of trauma to his body. The trauma of political violence experienced by his father makes Juno lives alone. Juno's kid life in a poor village makes him a mother and a father of his life. Juno sees a lot of violence appearing around him. The first trauma to violence is experienced when he enters the lengger dance group in his village. Violence makes his body have to move from one village to another. The moves that make Juno meet many human beings from boxers to Reog dancer maestros. This moves make his body experiencing a variety of violent trauma, from social trauma to the trauma of political violence. A journey that brings him to find the beauty of his body.
