Kasih Diambang Maut

(title translation: Dying Love)

Anita, daughter of a wealthy widower, gets pregnant by a married man who then abandons her. To avoid shame, Anita goes to Bandung and lives by herself. One day, she meets Syamsudin, director of a branch office in her father’s company. Anita tries to trap Syamsudin, to make him the father of her unborn child. She invites Syamsudin to stay at her place. Initially, he declines the offer, but then agrees to stay the night, as long as he can leave early in the morning. When he arrives, he finds Anita’s dead body so he leaves in a rush, but the police start looking for him. But Syam is more worried that the murderer is actually stalking him. His secretary, Tuti, suggests that he files a full report and tells the police his side of the story. The police do not believe him at first, but then Syam spots the car that is always following him. Using Syam as bait, the real murderer is revealed.
