Farida is a talented dangdut singer who is discovered by Deddy, an established dangdut singer, while singing in the streets. In a short time, Farida is successful in recording and performing. Fame overpowers her and she even leaves her husband, Trisno, an invalid songwriter who has helped her career. But after facing many problems, Farida returns to her husband.
