(title translation: Because of Love)

Didi envies his friends who own bicycles as his parents have refused him one for safety concerns. He then takes his uncle’s bicycle to ride around the city. Unfortunately, the bicycle is stolen in a public space. Afraid to go home without it, he starts hunting for his missing bike. When he gets tired and hungry, a a child shoe-polisher saves him by giving him work to survive. Meanwhile, Didi’s parents frantically look for him with the help of the police, radio stations and newspapers. When the police find him, Didi is scared and runs off to the seaside. But his fellow shoe-polishers manage to convince him not to jump into the sea and return to his parents.
