Kadarwati

Kadarwati, a pretty girl, is tempted by promises of a scholarship at a medical school in Singapore during the Japanese occupation. Upon her arrival in Singapore, she finds that she is destined to be a Japanese housemaid, a "Babu Nippon". Clearly she is deceived, but she cannot do anything, She even becomes a slave to satisfy the lust of lone Nippon soldiers. Harada, an official Japanese of a plantation in Malaya, feels sorry for her.
