Joe Turun ke Desa

(title translation: Joe Comes to the Village)

In this comedy, a group of snobbish university students, from the city, visit a village for an internship programme. An overweight student, Joe, leads them. Problems arise when Budi and Imam compete for a beautiful village girl, Neneng, instead of working diligently. Or how Pinky and May dress as if they are visiting an elite shopping mall that incites the village thugs. Luckily, there is Ujang who stops the conflict with the village thugs, and gets them to help with the students’ irrigation project. At the end, it is revealed that Ujang is an engineer who has returned to his village and is also Neneng’s fiancé.
