Jaka Tuak

Jaka Tuak (Barry Prima), a servant in the Dutch colonial regency of Buntaran, falls in love with the daughter of the local regent, Nilasari (Niena Karina). Clearly, their relationship is not acceptable, and Jaka Tuak’s mother is even killed. Jaka then flies into a rage, but because he is not a skilled warrior, he is overcome and thrown into a deep ravine.  Jaka is then found and saved by an old man, who teaches him martial arts. This love story is inter-laced with intrigue relating to a struggle to take possession of a chest full of treasure. In the end, Jaka claims the treasure for himself, and Nilasari is allowed to go to him.
