Hanum’s husband, Sunyoto, divorces her to marry his pregnant secretary. On the advice of her mother, Hanum marries her childhood friend, Siswandi. Hanum is disappointed. Siswandi, whom she considers a sincere person, is having an affair with his landlady. Meanwhile, Sunyoto is confused wants to go back to Hanum but his divorce suit makes it impossible. Then Hanum is advised to marry Hambali, and she genuinely falls in love with him. And when the deadline of the divorce expires, Sunyoto dies in an accident.
