Hati ke Hati

Title translation: Heart to Heart

The couple Kinaras (Intan Kieflie), a young woman wearing hijab, a successful boutique owner in Yogyakarta, and his husband Asmaradana (Mike Lucock), a successful architect, hasn’t had a child despite four years of household. Their marriage is starting to crumble.

From a laboratory check, Kinaras is discovered to have antisperm antibodies; she can’t get pregnant as the result. In addition, she catches signs of his husband hiding something. She becomes sure that her husband is having an affair, judging his closeness to his old besfriend, Bulan.

In another side of Yogyakarta, Lara (Sausan Machari), a high class hooker, lives together with Salep (Dwi Sasono). Lara is being extorted. One day Lara realises this and wants to save her life. She decides to stop being a prostitute when she realises that she is pregnant with her second child with Salep.

Kinaras and Lara meet. And it becomes something they’ve never imagined before.
