Eulis Atjih

Gumilar, a medical student and the son of a retired duke, has artistic talent. He falls in love with Eulis Acih, a theatre star, who is performing dii Jakarta Arts Building. Gumilar parents who despised the showman, are forcing Gumilar to break with Eulis, and marry Mariana, his own nephew. Gumilar goes away from home and follows Eulis’ theatre troupe to Surabaya. In this city Gumilar gets a mental test.
