Euphoria

Euphoria tells about four people who are involved in a theatrical production called “Srikandi” in the middle of the journeys to find their true selves; their euphoria. Harris is a son of a successful businessman, assigned to audit a theatrical production that has been a part of a company’s investment. Having been struggling for a long time to prove himself, he wants to get rid of his father’s shadow. Giras is a young graduate struggling to become a prominent artist. His search for true self changes his view on the meaning of becoming an artist as he agrees to join the production as storyboarder. Ara, a sport enthusiast who follows her mother’s path as a dancer, gets the main role in “Srikandi”. She meets Vanya who makes her re-evaluate what she knows about her own sexual orientation, love and true self. The last character is Valerie who returns to Indonesia after ten years living in Russia. She discovers that her parents have divorced, her lover is engaged to someone else and she has a new family she doesn’t know at all. Questioning the meaning of true family and home, Valerie is introduced by Vanya to someone who can answer all her questions.
