Dancing in the Rain

For Granny Uti (Christine Hakim) Banyu is everything. Behind her compassion there is a feeling of sadness, because Banyu was abandoned since baby by his parents who were unable to take care of him. When Banyu entered school age, Granny Uti was faced with a bitter reality: Banyu has a spectrum of autism, and is difficult to interact with his environment. Then, Radin appeared, a new child in the block who not only defended Banyu when he was bullied, especially when Kinara made their friendship more complete. Until adulthood, Radin, Banyu and Kinara remain friendly, the seeds of love grow between Radin and Kinara. Radin’mother  once manages to slander Banyu, as if Banyu has harmed her. Radin, who misunderstands, becomes very angry and leaves Banyu.
