Dewi Angin-Angin

Umbul Suko, the master of black magic, trains three of his disciples, Wiro Gender, Loh Ijo, and Lembu Abang, to be powerful warriors. They then roam the land with their army, wreaking havoc. They reach the region of Tumenggung Tirtomulyo, who has a secret love affair with Nyi Roro Kidul, the Queen of the Southern Seas. To confront the gang of Wiro Gender, Tumenggung Tirtomulyo seeks assistance from the rulers of neighbouring regions, by gathering them during the marriage of his daughter, Argadini, to Raden Ario. But on the way to the house of Tumenggung, Raden Ario is beaten by Lembu Abang, and his dying body is sent to the former’s house. To cure Raden Ario, Tumenggung asks Nyi Roro Kidul for help. So she sends her son, Raden Gonggo, born from her love affair with Tumenggung, to destroy Wiro Gender. Finally, Raden Ario is reunited with Argadini. But Tumenggung is killed in battle and joins Nyi Roro Kidul in the mystical world of the Southern Seas.
