Dukun Ilmu Hitam

(title translation: Black Magic Shaman)

Dewi, a snake lady, kills a woman and steals her baby to be a companion for her own child. She returns to her form as a snake after she hands the babies to her shaman husband. When the babies, Sari and Maya, are adults, they are taught black magic. Maya gets acquainted and then marries Panji, one of the victims of Dewi and her husband. He is raised by his cleric teacher and has been given the message by Maya’s late dying father to find his daughter. The teacher reveals Maya’s background, whom he recognises from the black mark on her right wrist. A shaman and his wife used to live in the village and were banished for their activities. Sari is manipulated by her father to commit terror and murder in the village. She even terrorizes Maya. In the end, Sari has to face Panji and the teacher. When Sari dies, her father tries to help, but he is also killed by the teacher’s weapon.
