Despite Jegol’s genuine intention to repent, it is not easy for him to do so after being released from prison. Nobody wants to hire him, and he even gets cheated in a food stall. Fortunately, the lady who sells him cigarettes is willing to forgive him. But the bitterness of life does not end there. He is evicted from his house, and his wife runs away with another man.
