Dewi

A meeting with Burhan, who has loved her since childhood, gives new hope to Tuti who is not well looked after by her husband, Iskandar, who is an idealistic reporter. So with her daughter, Dewi, she leaves her husband and the poverty. But the new house does not give Dewi peace, especially as Burhan’s promise to marry Tuti is an empty one. Tuti is just a fling for Burhan, whose wife is pregnant. Dewi is expelled from school as all she does is daydream, while her father challenges Burhan to a duel. Tuti comes to stop the fight. Back at home, it turns out that Burhan’s wife is trying to kill Dewi. So in the end, Dewi gets her father back, Burhan returns to his wife, and Tuti is reunited with her husband.
