Rais is a son of a poor widow. He makes friends with Leila, a daughter of a rich and respectable man. Their friendship becomes love when they reach adolescence till Rais graduates from medical school. Eventually, Leila’s parents oppose their relationship. To make her forget about Rais, her mother sends her away to learn how to play piano in Paris. Her plan fails since Leila keeps visiting Rais in the village where he is stationed as a doctor. Roy, who has just come from Paris, arrives, and he is the one that Leila’s mother thinks is the correct match. Leila’s father, Imron, sets a trap for Rais. As a victim of this plan, Rais has a bad reputation and in an accident later, he is rendered paralyzed. Soon, Leila starts to dislike Rais and accepts Roy’s proposal. The marriage turns out to be miserable when Roy is shown to be a gambler and a womaniser. Leila gets divorced with help from her father, and starts looking for Rais. But Rais already has a wife even though he’s paralysed.
